The Abbeyleix Further Education and Training Centre was established in 1991 and is dedicated to providing adults with further or ‘second chance’ education and training opportunities.
To facilitate learning, personal growth and critical reflection through a working partnership with participants and tutors and to enrich the quality of life for all.
Our business courses introduce learners to all aspects relevant to the business world. Students enhance their knowledge base and are provided with the necessary skills to enter the modern business environment.
The Art, Craft and Design course allows students build a portfolio over the year, exploring fine art and craft, enhancing transferable skills in combined materials.
The next set of interviews will take place from 26th August for courses starting in September 2019. We are accepting online applications throughout the Summer.
